Natalie Turturro works as a costume designer for stage and screen, based in New York City. She is a member of IATSE's United Scenic Artists Local 829 and Theatrical Wardrobe Union Local 764. Natalie has worked in the costume departments for The New York City Ballet, and on tv series such as: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon, S1), The Deuce (HBO, S1-2), Sneaky Pete (Amazon, S2); films include: The Greatest Showman (20th Century Fox), Dirty Dancing (ABC remake 2017). Her realm of expertise also extends to fashion, where she worked as an assistant stylist for editorials, advertisements, and runway shows at both New York & Paris fashion weeks. Natalie attended Boston University, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design & Production, concentration in Costume Design. Complimentary to her degree, she has studied Peking Opera in Shanghai, China, and British Cinema in London, England. Natalie's love for travel and culture led her to live in Paris, France for three years after university. Among her various jobs abroad, she notably worked as a translator at the Cannes Film Festival, which led to her role as the costume consultant and researcher for the film, The Price of Desire. Though a native New Yorker, she attended high school in Florida, where she got her start designing costumes for theatrical competitions at the Florida State Thespian Festival at the age of 14. She later went on to apprentice with costume designer Brian O'Keefe upon graduating high school. Natalie earnestly looks forward to all future creative projects.
